With many memories and much love, we announce the peaceful passing of Tom at the age of 79. Loving husband and best friend of Janice (Smart) for 57 years. Cherished father of Michael (Phonsa) and Tracey (Ralph Sherwin). Proud papa to Courtney (Chris Rowland), Amanda Vorakoth (Sydney Parris), Amy Quangvan and Connor and Rachel Sherwin. Great papa to Aria, Peyton and Wesley Rowland and Kenna Parris.
Tom is predeceased by his loving parents Alfred and Ina and his siblings, the late Inez (late Henry), late Ann (late Howard), late Art (late Florence), late Clare (Gladys), late Leo (late Orlean), late Millie (late Clayton) and late Henry (Marie). He will be missed by Len (Linda), Sulo Inberg and Sharon Copeland, and his two fishing buddies Gary and Dave. Brother-in-law of Marlene Prokopchuk (Nick). Predeceased by Mary Carbone (Pat), Andrea Penno (Roy), Roberta Alexander (Bob) and Sheila Marshall (Duncan). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
It is certain that Tom has left an imprint on the hearts of many friends and family and will surely be remembered fondly.
The family would like to thank the Bayshore nurses for their wonderful care, especially Cathy, Trudy, and Alison as well as the wonderful care we received from the staff, volunteers, and doctors at ARCH. At Tom's request there will be no service, and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARCH (payable by cheque or online) and would be appreciated.
