July 27, 1933 – September 5, 2021 - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Claire Summerhayes.
Loving mother to Geoffrey Summerhayes (Mary). Predeceased by her parents; Russell and Evelyn and her sister, Jane. Loving aunt to; Sandra Duplessis (Darrell) and Susan McPhail (John). Claire was an avid traveler and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending church, and was involved in many charitable endeavors. Claire was never afraid to be unapologetically herself. Claire also leaves behind many cherished friends and family members. A special thank you also goes out to the staff at Van Daele Manor for their care and compassion.
Friends and family are invited to meet at Greenwood Chapel on Monday, September 13, 2021 by 2:00 pm for a Graveside Service with Rev. Nancy Ferguson officiating.
