Heaven has gained an Angel and a piece of our hearts, with deep sadness we announce the passing of Teen on December 26, 2019.
Loving and best friend of her spouse Gary for almost 60 years. Supportive and patient mother of Kristine Thomas (Jamie) and Robert Tadashore (Rita Braido). Proud and caring Ma, Gramma of Justine Thomas (Tyler Eckert), Maddison Braido and Zachary Tadashore. Daughter of the late Harvey and Marjorie Gavin, sister of the late Frank, late Pat, Barb MacInnes (late Doug), late Bill (Cookie). Sister-in-law of Patricia Kasubeck (Bill), Brian Tadashore (Anna Lisa) and the late Janice. Teen will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Growing up on the Gavin farm in Thessalon, Teen had a great love for animals. She enjoyed playing hockey, softball and bowling. Through her perseverance and her kind and caring demeanor, Teen worked hard and became a registered nurse, caring for many over the years. She was known for her sincere generosity. She will be truly missed by many family and friends.
The family will honour Teen's wishes with a private burial which will take place at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Thessalon. Memorial donations to ARCH would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522).
