It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Anne-Marie, surrounded by her family at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the age of 65 years. She was a loving wife to Robert K. Moore. Beloved mother and best friend of Denise Thibert (Kyle Bouchard). Wonderful grandmother to Kylan and Lydia Bouchard. Daughter of the late Christine (Kilmartin) and Rene Thibert. Sister of the late Mary Louise, Alfred and John (Rick). Aunt of Louise (George), Kerri-Lynn Brown (Kyle), Matthew, Sheldon (Sarah), Brooke (Darien). Great aunt of Ryan (Fiona), Jason, Nicholas, Aiden, Ella, Adam, Avery, Alyiah, Abigail, Kaitlyn, William, Cody, Levi and Kelsey. Great Great Aunt of Sylvia and the late Ace. She will be fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and Paramed staff.

Anne-Marie always had a vibrant laugh and a zest for life. She enjoyed taking care of others as she did for many years in the healthcare field. Anne-Marie also worked for the HSCDSB as a librarian maintenance worker. She enjoyed sharing her love for books and reading with young children at the school and loved bringing joy to her seniors who she took care of at Maple View Nursing Home. They were her pride and joy. She was a role model for her daughter, Denise, whom she was a single mother to. She was a best friend to her baby brother, John and was very close with him. They talked on the phone daily about anything and everything, never missing a beat. Anne-Marie will also be missed by her best friend at the school board, Lisa Gribich, the coffee chats will be deeply missed. She supported her son-in-law Kyle, with a lot of love and support, through some deep, heavy changes in his life and helped him get to a good set of tracks. He will be forever changed by this love and support. Anne-Marie will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or the SAH Critical Care Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to all the third-floor wards at the Sault Area Hospital as well as the ICU staff, especially Doctors Yii, Bishop and Landry for their kindness, care and compassion. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758). www.northwoodfuneral.com

I’m Free

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.

I’m following the path God has laid, you see.

I took His hand when I heard His call.

I turned around and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

to laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way,

I found the peace on a sunny day.

If my parting has left a void,

then fill it with remembered joys.

A family shared, a laugh, a kiss,

oh yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,

I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life’s been full, I’ve savoured much,

good family, good times, a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,

don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your hearts and peace to thee,

God wanted me now; He set me free.
