February 8th, 1952 - September 20th, 2020

September 20th, at age 68, Carole Thibodeau got her wings, and went to walk with her beloved angels.

Carole was first and foremost a proud and dedicated mother. She treasured her children more than anything and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as “Memen” and “Mère” to her grandchildren, Nicholas and Skye.

Carole is survived by husband Brian Brooks, children, Richard (Lori), Nicole (Jason), and Steve (Sarah), as well as her “3rd son”, Randy. Proud grandmother of grandchildren, Nicholas and Skye, Emily, Kassandra, and Katryna. Devoted sister of Normande, Norman and Ray, predeceased by siblings Marcel, and Pete. Special aunt to several well-loved nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Kevin and Jodie Brooks, and Kelly and Mike Ranni, and to the dedicated team of friends and family who helped provide comfort, as well as to Dr. Booth, and the nursing staff of SAH for their compassionate and heart-felt care. Thank you as well to Bayshore Healthcare, with special thanks to Nurse Cindy for her exceptional and attentive care.

At Carole’s request, there is no scheduled funeral or service. While Carole’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember her in a way that honours her spirit, and hope those who knew her will do the same. Carole’s love of both Christmas and Elvis reigned supreme, so tune in to your favourite Christmas movie, or crank up the King, just like she would have wanted!

Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.

“Love me tender, love me sweet, Never let me go, You have made my life complete, And I love you so”.
