Peacefully at the Plummer Hospital on Thursday, July 1, 2004 at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late James Franklin. Devoted mother of James Oliver "Chum" late Keith Douglas, Gerald Franklin (Nancy). Cherished grandmother of Debbie Little (Robin), Sherry Faubert (Mike), Jamie Tier (Selena), Stephanie and Stacey Tier. Great grandmother of Kylie Little and Emily and Tanner Faubert. Doris is predeceased by her brothers, John, Bill and Jim and her sisters Isabelle, Caroline, Betty and Nora. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday, July 5, 2004 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at 1 pm. Rev. Larry Burton officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
