Born in Meldrum Bay, Manitoulin Island on February 19, 1925 to Feltus and Mary James. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Ontario Finnish Resthome, just shy of her 95th birthday, surrounded by the love of her family and the staff there.
Dear wife of the late Robert Toni. Loved mother of Roberta Rushton (Bob), Glenn Toni (Cathy), Randy Toni (Marie) and Laurie Simon (Mike). Adored grandma of Jennifer Rushton (Kevin), Scott Rushton (Whitney), Allison McFarlane (Tim), Andrew Toni (Ali), Amanda Simon (Corey), Erik Simon (Rayann) and Nicholas Toni. Special G.G. to Nolan, Alexis, Spencer, Kai and the late Elayna. Her one surviving sister, Betty Dearing of Sarnia, has fond memories and will miss her. A family celebration of her life and interment will be held at a later date.
