1922-2021 - Iris passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 9, 2021 at Algoma Residential Community Hospice with her niece Susan Moore by her side.
Predeceased by her parents Jesse and William Torode, her aunt Emily Hughes, her brother Bill Torode, her nephew Michael Torode, and her dear friends Mary Torode and Louise Caverly Torode. Iris is survived by her niece Susan, her Caverly family; Bid, Kitty and Barry, Janet and John, and Sarah and Jody. Iris was an avid tennis player, golfer and curler and a member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church.
The family would like to thank all the staff at ARCH who tenderly and carefully looked after and watched over her. The wonderful friends who called, sent cards and gifts and dropped in were so appreciated by her; they made her last days sunny.
