Passed away peacefully at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Wednesday February 18, 2004 surrounded by his family at his side in his 84th year. Loving husband of 59 years to Teresa (Veltri) and dear father of; Louis (Sandra), Mario (Susan), Mary Piraino (Nick), Frank (Lina) and special dad to Jane Corbett. Beloved Nonno of seven grandchildren; Teri-Lou Intranuovo (Ralph), Joey (Vicky), Ricky, Dan, Tristina, David and Sarah. Proud great nonno of Marco Louis Intranuovo. Dear brother of; the late Pasquale (late Rosa), the late Francesco (late Giuseppina), the late Domenico (late Emilia), the late Teresa Gagliardi (late Pasquale), the late Carmela Bernardo (late Leo), the late Louisa and the late Maria. Also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Joe will be missed by his many close friends and neighbours who make up the rest of the extended family. The sopressata feasts, the contested card games, and his yearly garden harvest will truly be missed. Memories will be cherished by friends and family. James McKay officiating. Entombment at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum.
