Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Mapleview Nursing Home on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the age of 85. Conrad is now reunited with his loving wife Yvonne. Dear father of Lorraine (Michael), Jim (Kim), Gary (Lori) and Steven. Cherished grandfather of Christie, Tracy, Jacob, Joey, Amanda and Katey. Treasured great grandfather of Arabella, Sawyer, Ixchel and Aleister. Predeceased by his parents Eugene and Lydia Vachon. Brother of Lucia, late Andre, Georgette, Robert, Patrick, late Lucien, late Marguerite, Claude and Rita. Conrad will be dearly remembered by his extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life Come and Go will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 1511 Herkimer Street. Memorial donations to Mapleview Resident’s Council would be appreciated by the family. A very special thank you the staff on Goulais Bay at Mapleview for their care and compassion.
