It is with profound heartache that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Nonno on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the age of 81. Devoted husband and soul mate of Nina (nee Bufalini) for 55 years. Proud father of Mauro (Carla) and Paolo (Diana). Cherished Nonno and best friend of Amanda, Matthew, Michael and Emma. Predeceased by his parents Paolo and Celestina Vallecorsa. Brother of Angelo Vallecorsa (Marisa) and Peppina Marcoccia (late Umberto). Son-in-law of the late Emma and Mario Bufalini. Mario was loved and will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada and Italy. Your fight never went unnoticed, the courage you had and through it all you always had a smile on your face. It made you happy when your home was full of family and friends and the love you shared. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
