John L. Veale passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the General Hospital on Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Irene Veale. Dear father of John C. Veale (Terri) and Larry Suriano (Susan), Grandfather of Shari Miller (Paul), Pat Suriano (Natalie), Adam Veale and Brianne Veale. Brother of Lois Snooks (Ray) and the late Grace Veale. Brother-in-law of Carmel Daynes (late Walter G. Daynes). Uncle of Walter Daynes Jr., Christopher Daynes, Nichol Daynes, Jim Grieve (Chris), Rick Grieve (Diane), Vonnie Brittain and several other nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Thursday, January 30, from 5:30 p.m. until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 6:00 p.m. Interment at the United Church Cemetery, North Nestleton, Ontario. Memorial donations made to the United Church Cemetery, North Nestleton, would be appreciated by the family.
