With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Else Veitz in her 98th year on December 21, 2017 at ARCH. Beloved and loving wife of 55 years of the late Fritz Veitz. Beloved and loving mother of Werner Vogt (Tamara) and beloved and loving Oma to Tyron (Selina), Tristan, Tammy and Trevor of Appenzell, Switzerland. Proud great Oma to Gianluca and Lily. Else will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews in Germany and by her many friends at the Finnish Rest home. Else was a woman of exceptional courage. This was never as evident as in the last five years when she heroically endured extreme suffering. Special thanks to Father Hamish Currie, her loyal friend Sonia Knivilia, to Doctors Bishop, Apostle, Buehner, O`Brien, her nurse Cathy Moon and the staff at ARCH. A celebration of Else`s life will be held at a dedicated mass in the Saint-Theodule church in Champery, Switzerland. Donations in her memory may be made to ARCH.
