Passed away peacefully at Sault Area Hospital with his family by his side on Monday, November 12, 2018 at the age of 81. Beloved Husband of Patricia Vena for 62 years. Loving father of Gary Vena Jr. and Jennifer Dumond (Terry). Proud Papa of Rhys Vincent Vena Dumond and Joshua Paul Vena. Brother of Frankie (Wendy), Dolly (Joe), Wayne (Colleen) and David (Jennifer). Predeceased by his parents Louis and Jenny Vena. Brother-in-law of Bobby (Lynn), Gary (Marg), Joan (Johnny) and Randy (Koren). Gary will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton and Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St East) on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm. Funeral service to take place in the chapel at 3 pm. Memorial contributions to Heart & Stroke or the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. We would like to thank Dr. Phil and staff at the SAH and Cedarwood Lodge staff for the care they provided for our father.
