Passed away suddenly on Monday, July 12, 2004 at Pointe Aux Pins, at the age of 73. Beloved husband and best friend of Eila. Dear father of Philip (Lori) and Peter (Linda) of Lancaster, Ohio. Grandfather of Taylor and Lindsay. Brother of Margaret Anderson of Saskatoon. Brother-in-law of Bruce Waller (Irene) and Henry Viita (Flo). Remembered by his nieces and nephews. Thornley will be remembered for his many years of active community service. A celebration of his life will be held at Central United Church on Thursday, July 15, 2004 at 2 p.m. Rev. Herbert Breithaupt of Mississauga and Rev. Don MacKay officiating. Memorial contributions to the Group Health Centre Trust Fund would be appreciated by the family.
