Peacefully at the Mauno Kaihla Koti nursing home on Thursday, March 1, 2018 in his 87th year.  Beloved husband of Kirsti (nee Lankinen) for 64 years.  Predeceased by his parents Kosti and Katri Virtanen.  Dear brother of Salme, Urmas, Raija, Sirpa and the late Aune. Also survived by nieces and nephews.  Toivo will be remembered by family in Finland. Family and friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 1 pm for a memorial service. Pastor Brad Mittleholtz and Pastor Paul Raappana officiating. Time of fellowship to follow. Spring interment Greenwood Cemetery.  Memorial contributions to Mauno Kaihla Koti or Zion Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
