Peacefully passed away at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice after a battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the age of 74. He is now reunited with his beloved daughter Heidi “munchkin”. Devoted husband of Rose Marie Schaer-Wade. Cherished father of Michael Wade (Robin), Matthew Wade (Tammy) and Sam Wade (Christina). Awesome Papa of Lindsey, Kevin, Joshua, Richard, Jordan, Kacey, Shaelyn and Alyssa (Cody). Grand Papa of Bentley, Gavyn, Elena and Christopher. Brother-in-law of Danny (Suzanne), Gloria (Chas) and Wilfred Schaer. Michael will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family in Wisconsin and Florida. Mike was a long-time volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Gregory’s Church on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. A reception to follow immediately downstairs in the parish hall. Memorial donations to Tracy’s Dream, ARCH or St. Gregory’s Church would be appreciated.
