WEEKS, Thomas BIO

Peacefully passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Sault Area Hospital in his 77th year. He was surrounded both physically and spiritually by the love of his family. Husband of the late Carol (Crowle). Loving father of Katharine Oja (Andy), Valerie Seed (Jeffrey), Diana Guzzo (Raymond), Sarah Blais (Cory), and Mary-Lou McAulay (Michael). Cherished Grandpa of Cody (Meagan), Travis, Kayla, Maverick, Jesse (Brianna), Marayna, Julia, Jacob, Jocelyn, Marian (Kyle St. Michel), Kyle, Jason, Joshua (Marie-Anne), Eric-Kasper, Hannah, Cooper and Keegan and Great Grampa to Savannah, Fara, Isabella and Weston. Son of the late William and Mary Weeks. Brother to Larry (Marg), Mary MacDonald (late Chesley), Marvin (Sandie), Jim (Judy), late Martha Weir, Arlene Keatley (Wayne), Marvel Basawa (Bill), Lois Burns (Bob), Wilma Pelletier (Ron) and Kathy McMillan(Graham), late  Annie, late Frieda, late Mabel and late Violet. Special uncle and friend to many.

Dad had the best laugh that lit up his whole face and travelled right to his twinkling blue eyes. Always ready with a pocket full of candy for the grandkids. He had a memory like a steel trap and could tell stories for hours.  As kids we were so fortunate to spend time with him at camp. Spending every summer and weekends in the winter at Trout Lake where everyone knew Tommy. Generous with his time and never without the flannel shirt and work boots he would willingly help with whatever needed fixing. Even though he struggled with illness in the last year, he never complained and we will all miss him terribly.   We would like to sincerely thank all of his siblings and friends for the many visits and laughs shared at the hospital.  Your love for him is so evident. We also thank the many Group Health Centre doctors and the nurses at Sault Area Hospital for their excellent care.

Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, July 19 from 6-9 pm. Funeral Service in the chapel on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11 am. If you would like to make a donation, please consider SAH, ARCH or the Fraternal Order of Eagles Heyden/Goulais.
