Our mother passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 after a lengthy illness at the age of 83.
She was the beloved wife of Josef for 61 years. Loving mother of Petra Feurle (Werner), Volker (Caroline), and Oliver (Claudia). Oma of Sebastian (Manja), Ramona (Matthew), Stefan, Jana-Marie, and Aileen. Grossoma of Ava. Hildegard was born May 24th, 1935 in Wansen-Strehlen, Germany. She was the daughter of her late parents Max and Frieda Hantke. Dear sister of Werner Hantke (Inge), and Monika Gradwohl (Karl-Heinz), late Johanna Frank (Kaspar), late Manfred Hantke (Traudl), and late Dieter Hantke all of Germany.
Hildegard will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Germany and family and friends here in Canada and Germany.
A private memorial service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11 am. Mrs. Mary Alice Policicchio officiating. Memorial contributions to ARCH would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank all the amazing doctors and staff at the Sault Area Hospital and ARCH. Thank you as well to Dr. Fritz, Dr. Gupta, Dr. Ciaschini and Dr. Fratesi.
