(October 24, 1959 - September 5, 2019) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Wellwood at ARCH Hospice after a strong, courageous battle with cancer.  

Robert leaves behind the love of his life (wife) Debbie Wellwood (nee Bell).  Predeceased by his parents the late Harvey and Blanche Wellwood.  Son-in-law of the late Jean and Robert Bell.  Dear brother of the late Jake Specht (Velma), Joan McMahon (late Andy), Donald Specht (Mary), Carol Routenburg (Bev), Barbara Terry (late Clarence), John Wellwood (Karen), Wayne Specht (Brenda), Wendy Pigeon (Mike), late Wanda Ross, Dick Wellwood (Cathy), Lauri Hayes (John), Terry Specht and Bev Specht (Tania).  Cherished godfather of Megan Hayes (Dogger Dogger).  Special brother-in-law of Robert Bell, Dale Roberts (Paul) and the late Linda Clayton (Brent).  Missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Special friend of Barry Thomas, Ron Raynor and Arnold Smith.  Paw-daddy of Shipley, Bear-bear and Coco.  Bob has touched the hearts of many friends and coworkers.  Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 5 pm to 9 pm.  Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11 am.  Mr. George Wright officiating.  Interment Greenwood Cemetery.  Memorial contributions to ARCH, the MS Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.  Special thank you to Mike, Daniel, Reece and Billy Pigeon, Thomas Hayes, Ethan Wellwood, Jerry and John Ross and Richard Renald for being pallbearers for their Uncle Bob.  Also many thanks to the amazing staff at ARCH, all the nurses and doctors at SAH including the Cancer Clinic, Dr. Oliver, Dr. Darling, Dr. Carroll, the Bayshore nurses, the amazing 10th floor staff at the Toronto General Hospital and Edwin and staff at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Toronto.

Members of the Masonic Temple are requested to assemble at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel for a memorial service for the late Robert Wellwood on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11 am.    



Memories and Condolences
