passed away unexpectedly at Toronto on Friday, August 15, 2003 at the age of 21 years. After making great progress with his struggles Lewis was suddenly taken to be with his Lord. Many were touched by his courage, his love of God and his faith in Christ. Beloved son of Melanie and Robert Wheelan. Dear brother of Sarah (friend Chad) and Marshal. Grandson of Helen and the late Robert Wheelan and the late George and Cleo Briggs. Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Special friend of Rhonda Cohen and Dr. Rob Cartotto. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral and committal service at Zion Lutheran Church on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at 11:00 am. Lewis would want memorial donations made to the Global Hunger and Development Appeal (Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada) in which funds are directed towards alleviating child poverty in famine stricken areas of the world.
