October 7, 1941 - October 9, 2022 - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, John Williams at the age of 81.
Proud father of Brian Williams (Nancy), Susan Hilderley (Bruce) and Randy Williams (Holly). Loving grandpa of Brandon (Stephanie), Ryan (MacKenzee), Dylan and Chloe. Great grandpa of Maverick and Evan. John was the son of the late Russell and Agnes Williams. Survived by his sister Betty Younge. Predeceased by his brothers Robert, and Gerry. Special Uncle to Robin Marcil (Mike). Uncle, cousin and friend to many.
John will be fondly remembered for his generous spirit and his sharp sense of humour. John spent many Christmas Eve's from 1965-1995 visiting sick children at the hospitals and bringing them presents. He spent many years as president of the Twin Soo Radio Club where he was active in volunteering for community safety patrol on Halloween night making sure the children were safe.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Sharpe, Dr. Nicki Apostle and her team, and Dr. Schamp as well as the exceptional care of the nursing staff of 3A and 3B.
Family and friends are invited to visit Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St., E. 705-759-2522) on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 12:30 pm. - 2:30 pm. for a visitation period until time of the service in the chapel at 2:45 pm. with Rev.
