Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on February 20, 2023, at the age of 41, leaving all his family and friends completely heartbroken and devastated.

He is the beloved son of Doug, the late Paula, and Ann-Marie.  He was, and will continue to be, his son Kyle’s best friend.  He leaves behind three sisters, Jennifer (Rob Nero), Laura Andreychuk (Shawn), and Brooklyn (Scott Thornton).  Kyle’s mom Carrie-Lynn also held a special place in Brian’s heart.

He was Uncle Buddy to Megan (Jacob, Gia), Cameron, Olivia, Nicholas, Sophia, and Emma.  His grandmother Elizabeth Wilton will miss her boy, as well as many other close aunts, uncles, and cousins. Special hunting and fishing nephew to Martti Luukkonen.
Brian was predeceased by his grandparents Albert and Doris Cameron, Wilfred Wilton, and Henry and Barbara Frandsen.

Brian’s childhood friends meant the world to him and will miss him dearly.  Brian was an avid hunter, fisherman, and absolutely loved the outdoors.  His favourite past-times always involved being in a boat, camp or deer blind.  Brian also spent a great deal of time travelling with his family.  He thoroughly enjoyed going to new places and trying new foods, drinks, and activities.
Brian’s family and friends will miss hearing all his stories about his good luck (or as he called it “Skill”) that he always seemed to have of catching the most fish or winning the biggest prize at an event.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023 between 1:30pm-5pm at the Marconi Cultural Events Centre (450 Albert Street West, Sault Ste. Marie, ON).

In lieu of flowers; the family welcomes donations, which will be put in trust for Brian’s son Kyle Wilton. Cheques can be made payable to Douglas Wilton or Carrie-Lynn Wilton.

Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street E. 705-759-2522).
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared here for the Wilton family.
