Peacefully, at his home, with his family by his side on Sunday November 16, 2003 at the age of 87 years. Husband and best friend of Beatrice “Molly” for 63 years. Father of Beatrice Tremelling (late Victor) of Spragge, Roy (Evelyn), Wayne (Susan), Sharon Veaudry, Wendy Wing (Tony Plackitt) of Calendar and the late Barbara Shuttleworth. Grandfather of 15, great grandfather of 18 and great-great grandfather of 1. Survived by his brothers Joseph (Betty) and Ernie (Wilma) and his sisters Edith Miller and Alice Pender. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday November 20, 2003 from 12:00 noon until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 pm with Ms. Mary Alice Policicchio officiating. Interment at Sands Cemetery at Rock Lake. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the G. Verdi Social Program for Handicapped Adults would be appreciated by the family.
