It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Carla peacefully in her sleep at her home in North Bay, ON at the age of 65. Daughter of then late Anthony and Sophie Wolak. Beloved wife of Norman Tomlinson, cherished mother of Noreen Kirby (Adam). Proud grama to Cassandra (Daniel), Jack, Lindsay, and Terrance (step-grandchildren), Brett, Jacob, and Lexi. Loving and caring auntie of Donna Stadden and Don Ferguson (Mary). Great nieces Stephanie and Lorraine and great nephew William. Carla married the love of her life, her soulmate Norman Tomlinson on May 18, 1996, and they renewed their vows on August 30th, 2021. Family meant everything to her, and she was an anchor that kept her family together. She was always supportive and interested in their lives. Carla loved her grandchildren who spent many weeks each summer at their home and their campsite. She leaves behind her family and friends who will always remember her for her huge heart and nurturing ways. As per Carla’s request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place this spring. If desired, donations to a charity of choice would be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
