WONNACOTT, Delmer "Del" Heath ... passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2024 at the tender age of 90.
Beloved husband of the late Fay Wonnacott (nee McGrath). Cherished father of Penny Tosello (Mike). Proud and loving grandfather of Stephen and Kaylee. Son of the late Fred (Yorkie) and Sarah (Sadie) Wonnacott. Brother of late Freda Leverington, late Joan Smith (late Arden) and the late Reg Wonnacott (Janet). Son-in-law of the late Charlie and Maime McGrath. Brother-in-law of Blake McGrath (Zeni), late Bill McGrath, late Ron McGrath (Iris) and late June Opala (late John). Forever remembered by many nieces and nephews. Del will be remembered by many friends including his special friend Shauna.
Del was very grateful for all of his visits with family and friends over the years.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bruni and Sharon for their care over the years. As well as Dr. Bowen and the staff at the Sault Area Hospital 3B for all their care and compassion. The family is very grateful for the care, support and friendships from the Great Northern Retirement staff and residents.
Family and friends are welcome to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton and Kiteley Chapel on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 12 pm until 2 pm for a time of visitation and remembrance; a small service to be held at 1 pm. An inurnment will take place in the Spring. In lieu of flowers a donation to A.R.C.H. or the Sault Area Hospital Foundation can be made in Del's honour.
