YOUNG, Wayne Emery - (May 9, 1942 - August 30, 2023)
A kind and gentle man has been lost to us. A man of faith, Wayne has now gone on to a better place, free from pain and suffering, whole again in the arms of his creator.
He leaves behind Louise, his loving wife of forty years, Sons, Christopher and Gregory (Michelle), stepdaughter Inger (Henry) and step-son Christian (Renee). Now reunited with step-son Nicholas who left us two years ago. His quiet presence will be sadly missed by his grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom he loved very much.
It was Wayne’s wish to leave this world quietly with no formal celebration of his life. To honour his wishes we will gather together over the coming days and months to recall memories of a life well lived.
Wayne is at peace and whole now in Christ. Recalling the words of our Risen Lord: “Because I live, you shall live also."
