Human remains found in building after officials put out fire: provincial police

Provincial police say human remains have been found at the scene of a fire in Brighton, Ont.

Investigators say the blaze was reported in the early hours of Friday morning.

They say the remains were found inside the building once the flames were put out.

Police say the deceased has not been identified at this point.

They say forensic experts, the fire marshal's office and the office of the chief coroner are also investigating.

Police say they're looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
