They say officers were called to Al-Taqwa Academy early Monday morning after an alarm went off at the school.

Officers, with the assistance of a canine unit, investigated and a male suspect was found inside the school.

Police say that after a search they found a bag filled with property belonging to the school and a driver’s licence previously reported as stolen.

The 36-year-old London man is charged with break enter and theft, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, and resisting arrest.

He's scheduled to appear in court on June 23.
