Police seek witnesses to collision that left pedestrian dead in Richmond Hill, Ont.

RICHMOND HILL, Ont. — Investigators are seeking witnesses to a collision that killed a pedestrian in Richmond Hill, Ont., last night. 

York Regional Police say officers were called at 10 p.m. on Wednesday about a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle.

Officers found a 58-year-old woman from Vaughan with life-threatening injuries at the scene. 

She died later in hospital. 

Police say the driver remained at the scene. 

Investigators want to talk to witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the collision.
