Toronto police are investigating after an SUV hit and critically injured a seven-year-old girl.
Police say they were called to the incident — near Lawrence Avenue and Allen Road — on Wednesday evening.
Investigators say a 45-year-old man was driving on a side street when the girl ran across the road mid block.
Police are asking anyone with security or dash camera footage of the incident to contact them.
