TORONTO — A woman found not criminally responsible for stabbing a stranger to death in a Toronto drug store has been ordered to remain detained at a mental health hospital.

The Ontario Review Board has ordered the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health to create a rehabilitation program for Rohinie Bisesar.

The board, which decides if and how not criminally responsible patients should be detained, says the person in charge of the hospital can decide whether Bisesar may be allowed to live in the community.

It also says Bisesar may be allowed to leave the facility with or without supervisions at the discretion of the hospital.

Bisesar killed Rosemary Junor, 28, on Dec. 11, 2015, in a Shoppers Drug Mart in downtown Toronto.

Court heard in a one-day trial that Bisesar was in the midst of a psychotic breakdown and listened to a voice that commanded her to harm someone.
