One person faces impaired driving related charges after members from the East Algoma OPP Detachment responded to a vehicle in a ditch on Duff Road between Bruce Mines and Thessalon on Wednesday evening.
Responding officers believe the driver's ability to drive was impaired by alcohol.
Heidi Robinson, 36 years old of Plummer Additional Township, was arrested and taken to the Thessalon OPP Detachment for testing where police say she refused to provide a breath sample.
Robinson is scheduled to appear in court in Elliot Lake on April 6 and stands charged with:
• Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
• Failure or refusal to comply with demand
Her driver's licence was suspended for 90 days, and vehicle impounded for seven days.
