GOULAIS RIVER - On April 25, 2020 at approximately 3:30 p.m., members from the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a domestic incident that occurred in Goulais River, Ont.
Officers commenced an investigation into a report of a domestic incident and as a result of that investigation, a 56-year-old person from Goulais River, Ont. has been arrested and charged with the following:
- Assault - spousal, contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code (CC)
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on June 24, 2020, located at 426 Queen Street, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.
