A Wawa resident has been charged with sexual assault after Superior East OPP responded to a domestic disturbance on Klondike Street in Wawa on Sunday afternoon.
The 46-year-old accused is schedule to appear in court in August and stands charged with:
• Assault - spousal
• Assault causing bodily harm - spousal
• Sexual assault
"Due to the domestic nature of the incident, the name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim," says a news release issued by OPP.
