OPP AUXILIARY UNIT “STUFF A CRUSIER” EVENT

(Sault Ste Marie, Ont.) For the fourth year in a row members of the Sault Ste Marie OPP Auxiliary Unit will once again team up with Rome’s Independent Grocer’s to help the many people at the Sault Ste Marie Soup Kitchen.

On Saturday December 15, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. members of the OPP Auxiliary Unit will be in front of Rome’s Independent Grocers. The volunteers will have marked OPP vehicles parked at the doors to Rome’s asking for donations toward the Sault Ste Marie Soup Kitchen.

Shoppers will be asked to donate food items for the Soup Kitchen and the Soup Kitchen clients. Bring your donation to an Auxiliary member and you can literally stuff your donation into one of the OPP cruisers. All items will be delivered, that day, to the Sault Ste Marie Soup Kitchen.

The OPP Auxiliary Unit consists of volunteers from our community who work together for a better community.
