CAMPS DESTROYED BY FIRE – POLICE INVESTIGATING

(St Joseph Island, Ontario) – The East Algoma OPP is currently investigating two fires in the area of Hilton Township on St. Joseph Island.

The victims report that sometime between December 12, 2010 and December 29, 2010 two camps on S & T Line were destroyed by fire. The last time the victim attended the area was on December 12, 2010.

The Fire Marshall Office is investigating.

CARE OR CONTROL OF A MOTOR VEHICLE


(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – In the early morning of December 29, 2010 an officer of the East Algoma OPP while on general patrol noted a vehicle in the area of Burley Park in Elliot Lake.

The officer spoke with the driver and through investigation the driver was charged.

Charged with Care or Control Exceed 80 is Scott Arthur James BELLEAU (24) of Elliot Lake.

BELLEAU is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on February 1, 2011.
