SINGLE VEHICLE ROLLOVER
MALE DRIVER INJURED
(Garden River First, ON ) – Sault Ste. Marie OPP is currently investigating a single vehicle motor vehicle collision that occurred at 12:30 am this morning on Highway 17 East in the westbound lane between Belleau Lake Road and Trunk Road.
A 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe left the roadway and rolled over into the ditch. The vehicle was demolished.
A 60 year old male driver and lone occupant from Michigan was transported to Sault Area Hospital by ambulance with serious but non- life threatening injuries.
The highway was closed and re-opened at 5:10 am this morning.
The investigation is continuing.
