HUNGRY BEAR (Macdonald Twp., Ont.) OPP were called to a residence in the 200 block of Cemetery Road in Macdonald Township yesterday morning at 9:30 A.M. A small sized black bear was sniffing and scratching at the kitchen door of the residence.

(Macdonald Twp., Ont.) OPP were called to a residence in the 200 block of Cemetery Road in Macdonald Township yesterday morning at 9:30 A.M.

A small sized black bear was sniffing and scratching at the kitchen door of the residence. It had also climbed up onto a patio table on the veranda in the back of the house and was looking in the residence.

The bruin eventually left on its own.

OPP would like to remind the public to use care when storing and disposing of garbage.

DEER, BEARS, OR MOOSE – BE ON THE LOOKOUT WHEN DRIVING

(Fenwick Twp., Ont.) Yesterday evening around 9:20 p.m. OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a deer.

A deer ran into the side of vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 17 in Fenwick Township.

There was minor damage to the vehicle. The deer had to be dispatched.
