The Sault detachment of the O.P.P. had a quiet night last night and has nothing to report. Insects are out in full force in wooded areas now that the warm weather has arrived.

Insects are out in full force in wooded areas now that the warm weather has arrived. This forces animals to look for clear spaces to escape and they often choose the highways. The result has been a dramatic increase in the number of accidents involving deer and moose. The danger increases during night time hours. The O.P.P. asks that you take extra care.
