(MacDonald Twp., ON) – A black duffle bag containing two baseball gloves and a pair of two red baseball cleats were found in the area of Lake St. in Echo Bay, Ontario.

RIDE CHECK LEADS TO DRUG CHARGES
(Aweres Twp., ON) – On Thursday, June 21st, 2012 at approximately 1:40 am a pick up truck was checked at a RIDE spot check on Highway 17 in Aweres Township.
The officer detected a strong odour of marihuana coming from inside the vehicle.
Further investigation revealed a quantity of hash and cannabis marihuana that were located in the travel trailer attached to the vehicle.
All controlled drugs seized had a potential street value of three thousand dollars.
Thirty year old James Edwin MIDDAUGH of Edmonton, Alberta was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Drug and Substance for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.
The accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
