ONE CHARGED AFTER ALLEGED ARGUMENT

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – The East Algoma OPP has charged a local male after receiving a call regarding a possible assault.

On June 24, 2010 at approximately 12:02 a.m. police were called to attend a residence on Spruce Avenue in the City of Elliot Lake. On scene police learned that the victim and subject had been out for the evening. Upon their return to the residence allegedly an argument ensued between both parties resulting in one male being assaulted.

Charged with Assault with A Weapon is Keith Thomas SKANES (37) of Elliot Lake. SKANES is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on August 10, 2010.
