The Ontario Provincial Police advise the public of the following road closure.
Location: Hwy 17west of Blind River
Detachment area: East Algoma OPP
Time of road closure: 12:30pm
Reason for the closure: Transport Truck rollover-no injuries

Traffic is getting through in both directions but expect delays.
VAN DESTROYED BY FIRE
(Aweres Twp., ON) - Ontario Provincial Police and the Aweres Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on the top of the Mile Hill in Aweres Township yesterday evening at approximately 6:50 p.m.
A green 1999 Dodge Caravan caught fire while the vehicle was in motion. The driver and three passengers escaped without injury. The minivan was destroyed.
Highway 17 was shut down in both directions while the fire was extinguished. The cause of the fire appeared to be electrical.
