The Manitoulin O.P.P. Detachment is looking for a 78-year-old man with Alzheimer's who wandered away from his wife on Thursday May 27th, 2010. Alfons JAUERNIG was last seen on a trail adjacent to the JAUERNIG summer residence in the area of Stone Lake, Gordon Township. JAUERING was reported missing shortly before 9:00 p.m. by his wife. JAUERNIG is white, 6 feet tall and 170 lbs. He has short gray hair and brown eyes. JAUERNIG was last seen wearing a red and white checkered shirt, red boxer shorts and light blue shoes. Manitoulin O.P.P. officers, Northeast Search and rescue, R.C.C Trenton and the North Shore Search and Rescue are on scene looking for JAUERNIG. Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of JAUERING is asked to call 911.
