WE WILL BE THERE WITH “RIBBONS” ON

This afternoon at 3:00 p.m. members of the Sault Ste Marie OPP will be proud to assist our local Sault Ste Marie MADD Chapter kick off their PROJECT RED RIBBON campaign for this festive season.

Members of the Sault Ste Marie OPP will gather with our Sault Ste Marie MADD chapter at the KFC outlet on the corner of Great Northern Rd and Second Line in Sault Ste Marie.

At three o’clock this afternoon the KFC outlet that location will be decorated with the famous RED RIBBON that has become a famous symbol of the MADD organization throughout North America.

Police agencies across this continent have been partnering with MADD chapters to actively support all activities that will stop and prevent drinking and driving.

The Sault Ste Marie Chapter of MADD has continually supported the fight against impaired driving by being out in the middle of the night, shoulder to shoulder, with our area police agencies at spot checks intended to nab those who continue to ignore this life saving message and continue to drink and drive.

The small, but powerful, piece of red ribbon proudly displayed on motor vehicles of all sizes is immediately recognized across the world as one of the many positive signs of the MADD organization and their army of volunteer fighting to stop the carnage and anguish that is inflicted on victims of impaired drivers every year.

Come and help us launch this years RED RIBBON campaign. Tie one of the famous red ribbons on your vehicle and remember to make the choice not to drink and drive
