OPP SOLVE INCIDENTS IN FOREST GLENN SUBDIVISION (Blind River, Ont.) During the evening of October 3, 2008 culprits made their way to the Forest Glenn Subdivision in Blind River.
OPP SOLVE INCIDENTS IN FOREST GLENN SUBDIVISION

(Blind River, Ont.) During the evening of October 3, 2008 culprits made their way to the Forest Glenn Subdivision in Blind River. Through out the evening they entered vehicles, garages, stealing alcohol, cigarettes, money, electronics and three (3) ATVs. The following morning police responded to 20 complaints of various thefts, break enters and through investigation it was revealed that another 15 incidents had not been reported. Police concluded approximately $17,000.00 of property was missing.

As a result of an investigation by the East Algoma OPP and Crime Unit, three (3) male youths have been arrested and charged with the following:

Attempt Theft – (X 18)
Mischief Under – (X 3)
Mischief Over – (X 3)
Theft Under- (X 15)
Theft Over – (X6)
Break and Enter – (X15)
Possession Over – (X6)
Possession Under – (X3)
Breach of Release Conditions – (X7)

A total of 76 charges.

Police have recovered fifteen of the seventeen thousand dollars of missing property.
One 16-year-old male youth and a 17-year-old male youth remain in custody awaiting a Bail Hearing on October 17, 2008. Another 16-year-old male youth is scheduled to appear in Blind River Youth Court on December 22, 2008.
