Sault Ste Marie OPP continue search for missing boater
The Sault Ste. Marie OPP is continuing its search for a missing boater from Pancake Bay. The 55-year-old male left a residence on Pancake Shores Drive yesterday morning at approximately 10 a.m. in an 8 foot aluminum rowboat. He was last seen on the waters of Lake Superior at approximately 3 p.m.
The OPP is requesting the public’s assistance in reporting any floating items that may be related to the search. Search areas of interest are in Pancake Bay, Batchewana Bay, Harmony Bay and Havilland Bay.
