HOUSE DESTROYED BY FIRE ONE WOMAN INJURED
Fenwick Twp., ON) – OPP and Goulais River First Response, are at the scene of a structural house fire that was reported at 5:20 am today.
The 2 story structure located in the 200 block of Island Road in Goulais River was completely engulfed in flames upon OPP arrival.
A 65 year old female who was home alone at the time, managed to get herself out of the burning residence.
The victim has been transported to hospital by Sault Area Ambulance with second and third degree burns.
The incident is currently under investigation.
