Police Probing Break-Ins
(Blind River, Ont.) East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police are investigating two Break and Enters at local businesses.
On the 03 Sep 08 at Break in was reported at a local restaurant where the thieves mad off with a tidy sum of cash that had been left in the register.
On the 04 Sep.08 a second break-in was reported at a local garage where thieves once again mad off with a small amount of change.
Police are cautioning retailers to clean out the cash drawers in their businesses and advertise the fact that there is no cash left in the building.
Police are reminding residents that if they see suspicious activity around any business or residence to call them immediately.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding these two incidents to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.
