GOULAIS TWP – On May 19, 2020 members of the Sault Ste Marie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a sexual assault in Goulais Twp.
As a result of the investigation a 32-year-old from Goulais Twp has been charged with the following:
- Sexual Interference, contrary to section 151 of the Criminal Code (CC); and
- Sexual Assault, contrary to section 271 of the CC.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sault Ste Marie in July 2020.
